Film Making​

For International Baccalaureate personal project i decided to create a stop motion animation film. I chose to create this because I firstly enjoy making the films and also i feel being able to communicate your ideas though another way then speaking or writing is a very helpful and interesting skill especially for later life. The subject of my film was "Moments that have changed the world..", I chose this because i have an interest in recent history and how key moments through history have changed the way people live and act. The film was a success with 500 YouTube views within a week. This film has spurred me on to carry on making films in the future.

Current Affairs

I have a keen interest in current affairs of the world. I attend my schools Current affairs society and am also a reader of Wired, The Economist and Foreign Affairs. I would say my interest in current affairs comes from my eagerness to understand what is happening in the world I am growing up in. It has also grown because I study global politics as a subject which has given me a deeper understanding.

Geography

The Geography course I study focuses on the interactions between individuals, societies and the physical environment in both time and place. I feel this love stems from my interest in current affairs. It also investigates the way that people adapt and respond to change and evaluates management strategies associated with such change; for me, this makes it the most interesting subject that I learn.

Sport is a great interest of mine and I am also a great sports follower. I play mainly football, rugby and tennis but I am always trying out new sports.

I have played the saxophone for 7 years and have been involved in all possible bands and concerts since then.
